About Green Drive Summer Course
Green Drive Project’s Summer Course 2018 with the topic “Sustainable Automotive Product Development” is to be held in Institut Teknologi Bandung on 1st – 14th July 2018. The Programme is developed by Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering – Institut Teknologi Bandung in collaboration with GREEN DRIVE consortium of 4 European partners comprising University of Antwerp (Belgium), Loughborough University (United Kingdom), University of Deusto (Spain) and Bordeaux University (France). This program is also supported by National Center for Sustainable Transportation Technology (NCSTT-ITB).
The aim of this course is to enhance the engineering competencies of participants to work in automotive industries. During the 2-weeks program, the student will study some of innovative technologies in the areas of powertrain, NVH and the dynamics of electric engines, vehicle dynamics, crashworthiness and advanced manufacturing DFMA which will be the key components of future vehicles.
The program is open to final year bachelor and master students in engineering fields related to automotive. The students will develop a project each week. Classes will be given by experienced researchers and project managers working in these topics. Appropriate balance between lectures, case studies, and visits to industry and technological centers will give the participants a comprehensive overview of current and future engineering skills. In addition to the course, the students will be involved in some cultural events and visit tourism destination in Bandung.
